ABOUT THE VOLUNTEER GUILD

Ascension Sacred Heart Gulf Guild provides helping hands of support and fundraising activities to bring new healthcare programs and services to our community. Pictured below is the Guild Board presenting a check to SHHG President, Roger Hall, for the newly-constructed second Operating Room, in May 2017. 

Guild Contributions to the Hospital

  • Bilirubin bed
  • IV infusion chair
  • Swing bed
  • Liposuction machine
  • Golf Cart roof & tires 
  • Stuffed animals for children in the ER
  • Reimbursement to hospital staff for furthering their education and certifications (up to $400/course)
  • Managing the Gift Shop

Hospital Gift Shop
An important and much-enjoyed ongoing fundraiser of the Guild is the Hospital Gift Shop. Sales are over $230,000 since the doors opened in December 2010! Board Member Leisa Pickett oversees all aspects from purchasing unique apparel, gifts, and more as well as designing the beautiful store display. Volunteers of the hospital and Guild members open the doors and assist customers every week-day. As a Guild member, you will always receive 15% off your total purchase. There are several sales throughout the year, as well. Typical hours of operation: Monday-Friday 10AM - 2PM. Sunday 11AM - 2PM.
